Each piece has been lovingly hand crafted by me, using the pottery wheel or hand built, dried for a few days then bisque fired for 12 hours, then hand painted with ceramic glazes, and fired again in the kiln for another 12 hours.
the whole process takes time but the results when opening the kiln are always exciting like Christmas morning.
Handmade with love by me and is unique, each piece created, is never the same as the next one, which means handmade ceramics often bear marks, indicative of their unique crafting process, these marks, whether intentional or unintentional, can include variations in shape and glaze, tool marks and throwing rings, and even fingerprints. These characteristics, absent in mass-produced items, highlight the artisan's touch.
